Quality: It’s Not Just An Assumed Value

by Carl Immediato on February 26, 2010

As an ISO 9001 certified company since 2002, Rorke Data’s quality plan is regularly audited.  Recently, Rorke has been audited against the ISO 9001:2008 standard and has successfully passed this audit.  As a result, Rorke is ISO 9001:2008 certified for 2010 through 2012.  Recertification of the ISO 13485:2003 standard, a comprehensive management system for the design and manufacture of medical devices, was also achieved and celebrated.

Over the past year Rorke has implemented an improvement program targeted at customer satisfaction. The major points of this improvement program include an intensification of reviewing customer feed-back and implementing a well-structured project monitoring mechanism.

“Maintaining this industry’s highest quality requirements and passing ISO 9001:2008 certification reconfirms Rorke’s relentless dedication to quality and customer satisfaction.  Everyone’s effort to guarantee world-class quality control has ensured that our customers will receive the added value they have come to expect”, said Fred Coller, Director of Rorke’s Quality System.

The impact of the certificates will be seen by all aspects of Rorke’s business including its Galaxy Aurora and Aurora LS RAID, Galaxy HDX RAID, Galaxy 3G RAID, Galaxy LX5 NAS, DCA Archive systems, and Outsourcing.  Its Professional Services, Media and Entertainment, Healthcare and Life Sciences, and Surveillance divisions will expand market share as a direct result.
